Modern, Clean Wedding Inspiration with Pops of Colour

Jessica from Blushing Joy Events had a vision:… "to create a modern, clean, and romantic look through tablescape, florals, model, and dress, and of course, paper." Collaborating with Jasmine Lee, the shoot was held in Gallery 308, San Francisco - where the big windows allowed natural light and white space, creating the perfect setting to hero dusty blue and yellow colour palette. The brief was to design a full invitation suite, some menus and placecards. I created the suite with a floral sketch on vellum. The suite consisted of an invitation, RSVP and details card - each of these were kept simple to highlight the beauty of the florals. Twine held together the suite and sealed with an organic floral wax stamp. A dusty blue envelope complemented the wedding theme.

Pineapple Petals Studio perfectly crafted floral arrangements, which reflected natural colors one would see around the ocean. The bridal bouquet was carefully tied with handmade silk ribbons, that Pineapple Petals Studio dyed themselves! This bouquet was the perfect accessory for our bride, who wore a beautiful and feminine Galia Lahav gown from Kinsley James Couture Bridal, an engagement ring from Gem Breakfast, with makeup and hair by Makeup by Q.

To create a cool-toned and clean table design, we opted for a Tuscany Ocean linen by La Tavola, with gold chargers and gold flatware to bring a more elegant look. White ceramic plates were placed on top of the chargers to bring in a more modern feel. We gently placed handwritten name cards by Jianery Co., along with a delicate flower on the plate for a romantic touch. The dusty blue candle votives by Glassybaby were the perfect addition to this tablescape.
